Last night, in a crafting frenzy, I decided to punch out some hearts using my new heart punch I bought at Michael's ($9.99) and the paint chips I took from Walmart. Unfortunately the shades that I wanted were covered in print so that became part of my hearts. Oh well, for now.
I got the H (for my last name) from Michael's summer clearance for $1.19 and I used Elmer's glue to adhere the hearts to the H. I thought about painting the H white first, but it was raining outside and I'm not patient enough as a crafter to wait for paint to dry. (I was already waiting for paint on a different project)
I'm going to have to take better quality photos. The flash gave everything an orange hue and I wasn't in the mood to adjust in photoshop. I hung it above the entry to the kitchen, but I will end up hanging it on the front door wreath when I make that.
Any ideas on cheap wreath frames? I love the natural look and burlap. Decisions, decisions.
